Update #11 (December 13, 2016)
Where do I start for an update for this week, not a ton to report actually? We are reaching the point where we are ready to turn the corner now, the dismantling process is nearly over. The wood is on order and is expected to arrive by the end of the month. The engine stringers were removed last night after I left, and the remaining portion of the hull (bottom) will be moved outside and scrapped.
Essentially, nearly all remnants of the hull are now gone and the jig will be empty. We have salvaged what we could and are in the process of repairing those components. It should really get exciting here in a couple weeks, won’t be long before it starts looking like a boat again.
Great job tonight team, you are all making excellent progress!
Were getting closer every day.....
