Original "Norberg" Hull Trailer:

The Squire Shop: original 1979 trailer

Note: This trailer was also used in 1982 while underneath the former Circus Circus hull, which ran under The Squire Shop namesake that year.

The 1979 "The Squire Shop" original trailer appears to have undergone no noticeable changes throughout its life while as a Squire Shop

Based upon close examination of the evidence from various photos from the 1982 and 1983 seasons and with email discussions with former owner Michael Rutkauskas, this is the trailer that was sold to Jerry Shoenith and his Miss Renault racing team during that time. This information is current as of November 18, 2018.

This trailer appears again in 1991 underneath the Edge Shaving Gel hull in later years, which is the same boat.

This trailer has been in stored inside since 1991 in Pasco, Washington and was recently sold to Alex Bogert (Detroit, Michigan). Our initial inquiries into possibly obtaining this trailer for the restoration have been unsuccessful, as the owners are not interested in parting with it at this time. Perhaps as we get closer to finishing up the hull restoration itself........Alex will reconsider.

Note: The trailer was only used to transport the "T5" Miss Budweiser hull center section to the Rutt brothers shop, it was not actually used with the boat.

"Side by Side" comparison between the 1979-1982 The Squire Shop and the 1983-1984 Miss Renault, and the 1991 Edge Shaving Gel trailer versions............they are exactly the same.

Note: Notice how there appears to be 2 holes on the side of the saddle support pyramid shaped structure.......likely where the padded carpet section was screwed into the side as shown on the Squire Shop picture.

This also helps to prove it was originally from The Squire Shop.
