Last night we hosted the long anticipated "Squire Shop" reunion event at the Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum. I will write a full review of all the events that transpired, complete with photos and hopefully video clips in about 1-2 weeks.
We hired a professional photographer company (Jerry & Lois Photography) to cover the event, and we will post some of the pictures from the event once we get them processed.
We will offer a complete DVD collection of these photos for sale as well soon, and it will include all the photos that we post, as well as ALL the ones we didn't.
Details coming soon on that offer.
I have UNFROZE the latest VINTAGE Squire Shop pictures in the Bob Steil Collection: Volume I archives.........and you can find them here for quick reference.
There is a TON of newly added clips, many from the slideshow we presented last night at the event.
The event was also utilized to "formally" announce that The Squire Shop is the NEXT project in line for restoration at the Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum!
As soon as either the 1974 Pay N' Pak or the 1958 Miss Bardahl is completed (whichever is first), then The Squire Shop moves in to the workshop to get the project started.
To alleviate any concerns about the project, I can tell you that Mr. Steil and ourselves are 100% committed to ensure the absolute best restoration possible.
So for now, enjoy the newly added vintage photo gallery, and updates from the "reunion" itself will be coming in a couple weeks..............so keep checking back!
As for the turnout of the event, it was packed to the gills..............I hear it was one of the best museum events in their history. Thank you to all who attended, and the next time we pull the old crew back together.............it will be to rechristen the boat once again!
